Columbia Basin Hospital is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory team. In this role, you'll perform a variety of laboratory testing procedures that provide accurate, timely results essential to patient diagnosis and treatment. What You'll Do:
- Perform routine laboratory testing in multiple laboratory disciplines.
- Collect patient specimens through capillary, venipuncture, and arterial puncture techniques.
- Register patients and ensure accurate specimen identification and documentation.
- Perform phlebotomy and laboratory assistant duties as needed.
- Rotate through laboratory sections, including weekend and evening shifts as assigned.
- Participate in on-call coverage to support emergency laboratory services.
- Maintain quality standards while providing accurate and timely test results.
Position Highlights
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 30 hours per week, typically mid-shift
