Ensuring the delivery of top-notch, evidenced based, patient centric care on the inpatient unit.

Collaborating with and advising a multidisciplinary team.

Managing swing bed patients and coordinating care transitions.

Educating patients and families.

Handling emergencies with calm, grace and the occasional coffee/tea.

Participating in medical staff meetings, improvement initiatives and hospital committees.

Providing 24-hour call coverage as scheduled, including in-house and on-call responsibilities.

Demonstrating procedural knowledge of central lines, chest tubes, lumbar puncture, intubation or willingness to learn.

7-on / 7-off schedule, 20 weeks per year ( committee responsibilities), for optimal work-life balance
