About the Role
- As part of Client’s Supply Chain Program Management Office (PMO), you will play a central role in driving consistency, accountability, and strategic alignment across a portfolio of global supply chain initiatives.
- You will work within an established PMO framework while bringing your own initiative — applying project management fundamentals, clear communication, and a strong ability to learn quickly to every program you touch.
- This role bridges functional business teams, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to Client’s long-term supply chain strategy.
- You are equally comfortable presenting to executives and rolling up your sleeves on the details.
- You actively seek out smarter ways of working — including leveraging AI tools to eliminate manual overhead, sharpen decision-making, and keep programs moving faster.
- You thrive in structured environments and know how to navigate ambiguity when the unexpected arises.
What You'll Do
PMO & Governance
- Operate within and actively contribute to PMO standards, tools, templates, and governance frameworks to ensure program consistency and quality across the portfolio.
- Maintain program health dashboards, status reports, and risk registers; surface critical issues to PMO leadership with clarity and timeliness.
- Support continuous improvement of PMO processes — identifying gaps, proposing enhancements, and helping onboard peers to best practices.
Program & Project Delivery
- Lead complex, cross-functional supply chain programs from initiation through closure — including business case development, executive approvals, milestone tracking, and post-launch retrospectives.
- Act as liaison between functional business teams and IS&T, ensuring requirements are complete, clearly communicated, and met by proposed technology solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term strategies.
- Gather, synthesize, and document detailed global business requirements and design specifications.
- Facilitate project-related testing, rollout, training, and retrospective activities.
- Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions proactively and clearly — adapting your style for front-line teams, cross-functional partners, and senior executives alike.
- Inspire and implement change within Client’s culture through collaboration, thought leadership, and a customer-focused approach.
- Address escalations swiftly — assess root causes and develop actionable solutions for operational issues.
Strategy & Metrics
- Apply analytical skills to build program justifications, ROI estimates, and funding proposals.
- Define and implement KPIs and success metrics for programs and operational processes across the portfolio.
AI & Intelligent Automation
- Leverage AI tools to enhance PMO efficiency — including AI-assisted platforms for program status summarization, risk identification, resource forecasting, and reporting automation.
- Identify and pilot AI use cases within the PMO — proactively exploring where generative AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation can reduce manual overhead and accelerate decision-making.
- Partner with IS&T and data teams to evaluate and integrate AI-powered project management tools into existing PMO workflows and governance frameworks.
- Promote AI literacy across the program team — helping stakeholders and cross-functional partners understand and adopt AI tools that improve collaboration and delivery outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in global supply chain management within complex industries
- Strong project management fundamentals — scoping, planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder alignment; PMO experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to any audience, from operational teams to C-suite stakeholders
- A demonstrated ability to learn quickly — rapidly absorbing new tools, domains, and team contexts with minimal ramp-up
- Curiosity and openness toward AI tools — willingness to actively learn and apply AI-assisted workflows to improve PMO productivity, reporting, and communication
- Familiarity with PMO frameworks, governance models, and program reporting standards
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record leading strategic programs while executing at the tactical level within a PMO or COE structure
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI assistants, AI-powered project management platforms, or automation tools) to streamline program reporting, documentation, or risk management
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or working with large language models (LLMs) to generate summaries, draft communications, or synthesize program data
- Experience identifying automation opportunities within PMO workflows (e.g., status updates, meeting notes, stakeholder reporting)
- Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Execution tools; SAP ERP experience is a plus
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous programs across global, cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in process mapping, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Ability to operate autonomously and influence without authority in a matrixed organization
