  • Prepare and maintain assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Work directly with operations personnel when necessary to understand the underlying business activity driving accounting results.
  • Develop the ability to connect physical manufacturing activity with its financial impact.

CSI 10 / ERP

  • Learn to efficiently navigate relevant CSI 10 modules, screens, inquiries, and reports.
  • Execute assigned daily and month-end accounting processes within CSI 10.
  • Understand how transactions move through CSI 10 and ultimately impact the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Reconcile relevant subsidiary information to the general ledger.
  • Investigate transaction and posting discrepancies.
  • Develop the ability to troubleshoot routine accounting and process issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and use of the system.

Prior CSI 10 experience is not required. Experience with an integrated ERP system, particularly within a manufacturing environment, is preferred.

  • Investigate unusual transactions, balances, trends, and operating results.
  • Develop the ability to identify the operational activity underlying financial results.
  • Provide clear supporting analysis and explanations to the Controller.

  • Respond to routine auditor requests within assigned areas.
  • Support preparation of financial information required for the company's annual ESOP valuation process.

  • Approximately 1–3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience may be weighted toward either financial accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, close, and financial reporting; or cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing accounting, and operational finance.
  • Candidates are not expected to have mastered both disciplines upon hire. The company will provide development and experience in the complementary discipline.
