What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver/Applicator position at PSW?
PSW is a local family owned and operated ag retail company. At PSW we provide and apply agricultural inputs to farmers in East Central Illinois. We are looking for a class A CDL driver that can operate and maintain single or tandem axle trucks. We are also looking for a custom applicator to apply fertilizer and chemicals.

Truck Driver
Job Details
- Perform general equipment maintenance and mechanical work
- Deliver product to custom application equipment
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate loaders, fork-lifts, and other location equipment
- Complete and maintain records
- Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed
- Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Driving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with applicable endorsements
- CDL Class A/Hazmat and tanker endorsement
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Work additional hours in busy seasons
Applicator
Job Details
- Operate all spraying and fertilizer equipment
- Mixing, loading, and application of crop production products
- Deliver bulk and packaged materials
- Operate loaders, fork-lifts, and other location equipment
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assist mechanic
- Maintain application/spray records
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Obtain commercial pesticide license
- High School diploma/GED
- Agricultural background preferred
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Valid driver’s license with applicable endorsements
- Current CDL, or ability to obtain a CDL
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
