About being our Civil Design Engineer

Responsibility Highlights for our Civil Design Engineer
*The scope of work for a Civil Design Engineer will be scaled based on experience, but may include*
- Set-up and draft construction plans for roadway and utility design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Perform quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Participate in field visits during design and provide project support during construction
Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Design Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0 - 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Foundational knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and civil engineering design methods
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications for our Civil Design Engineer
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification (required for mid-level; preferred for entry-level)
- Prior experience in civil engineering design for municipal and/or transportation projects such as roadway/highway design, widenings, interchange modifications, bike trails/paths, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and engineering design fundamentals
- Experience delivering portions of design packages, coordinating with agencies or clients, and supporting junior staff (preferred for mid-level)

- A competitive salary! The genuinely expected range for this position is $36.00 - $52.00/hour depending on experience (Civil Design Engineer I, II, or III) Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
