Role Description This is a part time, on-site Vinyl/Window Tint/PPF Installer role based in Yakima, WA. The installer will prepare vehicles and other surfaces for application, including cleaning, measuring, masking, and safely removing existing graphics or film. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing vinyl wraps, window tint, and paint protection film (PPF) with precision, ensuring proper alignment, adhesion, and finish quality. The role also involves inspecting completed work, making adjustments as needed, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace and equipment. The installer will collaborate with the design and production team, follow work orders and safety guidelines, and occasionally interact with customers to review completed projects and address basic questions.
Qualifications
- Hands-on installation skills in vinyl wrapping, window tint application, and paint protection film (PPF), with strong attention to detail and finish quality.
- Experience with surface preparation, measuring, trimming, and using hand tools and heat guns safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, templates, and basic design specifications for vehicle and sign installations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift materials and equipment as required for installations.
- Previous experience in automotive tinting, vinyl wrapping, sign installation, or a related trade is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Yakima, WA location.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, follow safety procedures, and maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
