Key Responsibilities
- Develop/support and execute internal communication plans that align with company goals and values.
- Write, edit, and distribute content through a variety of internal channels that support employee engagement, corporate citizenship/giving, HR initiatives, and culture.
- Create engaging content and manage social media channels to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
- Partner with HR, leadership, and other departments to support change management, engagement, and organizational updates.
- Manage the intranet and digital signage on multiple platforms throughout the Region.
- Assist in planning and executing employee events and recognition programs.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships across teams and locations to strengthen collaboration and foster a sense of unity throughout the Region.
- Support company events such as on-site employee events, Town Halls, and community engagement.
- Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and branding across all internal communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Experience managing social media accounts: creating content, monitoring & managing channels, and optimizing content for search and user interaction.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with creative approaches to working in new situations.
- Ability to work independently, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and manage multiple projects.
- Must display good judgement for decision making and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Experience with change management communications.
- Experience with communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams).
- Solid experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in merger and acquisitions.
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies.
- Experience with multi-location company with more than 1,000 employees
- Experience with a manufacturing company
- Experience with video editing.
