POSITION SUMMARY:
The Aerospace Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily operations as determined by leadership across manufacturing. This cross-functional leadership role is pivotal in ensuring streamlined production processes, efficient materials flow, timely logistics, labor collection accuracy for direct reports, and facility readiness in support of aerospace manufacturing objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented leader with strong organizational, technical, and people-management skills.
This position will play a crucial role in the production process and contribute to the team’s overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MANUFACTURING SUPPORT
- Lead manufacturing teams to meet daily production schedules
- Promote a positive attitude while ensuring adherence to Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety standards.
- Monitor work-in-progress
- Resolve workflow bottlenecks
- Drive process efficiency.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and customer specific quality requirements.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) processes.

SAFETY GUIDANCE
- Adhere to OSHA, FAA, and company – specific standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas to prevent incidents.
- Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or near-miss incidents immediately.
- Ensure all personnel wear, maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for each task.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, material handling protocols, and equipment safeguards.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Lead a cross-functional team of operators and technicians.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings and provide clear communication on priorities and KPIs.
- Coach team members, support onboarding, and assist in performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and reduce defects.
- Train team on quality procedures and standard practices.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Oracle) .
- Understanding quality and compliance standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Legally able to work in the US.
- Adhere to OSHA, NADCAP, ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, FAA regulations and company specific safety standards.
- Internal Certifications: Forklift, Slings/Cranes, FPV, or others deemed appropriate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift). Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to manufacturing environments, including moderate noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment ae required, Such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
On the production floor, PPE is required depending on department and product (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection).
