Location: 1210 Taft Hwy, Signal Mountain, TN 37377 (Just 10 minutes up the mountain from Red Bank!)
Schedules:
- AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- PM Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Welcome to Pruett’s Market! We are a 3rd-generation, locally owned independent market right on Signal Mountain. Our food service department serves up restaurant-quality food including fresh, custom-crafted sandwiches enjoyed on our covered outdoor patio in a fast-paced, quick-service environment without the brutal late-night restaurant hours.

What You’ll Do
- Craft Quality Food: Prepare and assemble delicious sandwiches and deli items quickly according to company recipes and customer requests.
- Deliver Great Service: Greet local regulars, take orders with warmth, and answer menu questions to create an exceptional customer experience.
- Own Your Station: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sandwich line while upholding strict food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate & Support: Work closely with team members during busy morning, lunch, and dinner rushes, helping train new staff on prep techniques and kitchen safety.
- Inventory & Stocking: Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with receiving supplies to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Food service or quick-service restaurant experience is preferred, but we offer full on-the-job training!
- Shift Availability: Ability to work either our 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (AM) or 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (PM) shifts.
- Pace & Detail: Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced rushes with great attention to detail in food presentation.
- Team-First Attitude: Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a positive, lively kitchen culture.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with basic food safety regulations and best kitchen practices.
