Position Summary
As directed by the Insight Coordinator, the Program Leader, Insight will be responsible for the implementation and facilitation of the Insight curriculum and projects at assigned school sites; monitoring and assessing student progress; meeting all expectations and requirements of the program and its funding sources; collaborating with organizational partners and programs; continuously looking for ways to expand the opportunities available to our students throughout Tulare County

- Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for student learning to take place.
- Establish clear, consistent expectations for behavior and positive discipline.
- Ensure that every student feels known, accepted, valued, and respected; communicating in ways that build and maintain a high level of trust.
- Ensure that activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and exciting to students.
- Establish clear, consistent expectations for students to demonstrate quality in their work.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Pro Youth partners that support the success of our students.
- Support other members of your assigned team to work effectively and efficiently, in a high-performing manner.
- Assist with the timely completion of qualitative and quantitative data needed for compliance.
- Address issues, concerns, and challenges to the immediate supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a solution-based focus when facing challenges.
- Assist with the development of projects that can be supported through the grant requirements.
- Complete responsibilities accurately and on time.
- Hold everyone, including yourself, accountable for their actions.
- Comply with Pro-Youth Handbook Policy. Academic Support:
- Maintain and manage all electronic equipment necessary to deliver a high-quality program.
- Maintain a process for keeping students fully engaged with the assigned curriculum through weekly meetings with other Program Leaders and Program staff.
- Develop students' written and verbal communication skills through the assigned curriculum.
- Support the objective of leadership Development with students through the assigned curriculum.
- Other duties as assigned. Expectations and Accountability:
- Staff effectiveness will be measured through the meeting of program objectives, student success, and observations by the Insight Coordinator and ProYouth Administration. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure students have proper facilities to conduct projects.
- Ensure thorough communication with all levels of support.
- Participate in training when provided.
- Provide help and support to other Program Leaders.
- Create a safe and fun learning environment at sites where the program is being implemented.
- Collaborate with generating reports and data for the organization and other stakeholders.
- Complete data entry and reports promptly and meet deadlines for all essential administrative tasks.
- Address issues, concerns, and challenges in real time.
- Be a collaborative and cooperative partner with the school personnel.

Core Competencies
- Strong Classroom Management
- PC hardware and networking skills
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, school staff, and parents

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent AND
- 48 completed College Units OR
- NCLB Paraprofessional Certification
- Experience working with students (elementary -high school) preferred.
- Prefer someone who has experience with photography
- Prefer someone who has film and digital media skills and editing basics

General Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check.
- Must receive TB clearance.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have reliable means of transportation, which may include alternative means of transportation such as public transit, ride sharing, and or biking.

- Ability to work in multiple settings, including our lively home office, the indoor classroom environment, and active outdoor locations

Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, perform grasping and handling motions, and torso rotations continuously to engage and guide children’s classroom and playground activities.
- Able to lift and carry 25 pounds of materials
- Able to reach in all directions.
- Adequate sight or corrected vision for the purpose of reading directions and printed or written materials.
- Able to hear and speak to communicate with coworkers, students, and the public.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate instructional equipment.
- Work in a classroom and outdoor environment, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
