Role Overview

The Vice President (VP), Cardiovascular Medicine leads clinical operations, utilization management, and quality improvement initiatives related to cardiology and vascular care within a value-based care platform. They serve as a strategic partner, shaping cardiovascular programs, ensuring high-quality decision-making, and scaling programs across clients to drive healthcare value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cardiovascular clinical programs, ensuring operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, clients, and executive stakeholders to optimize program delivery and outcomes.
• Partner with growth teams to deepen client relationships and incorporate clinical insights into strategic development.
• Manage clinical review teams to maintain consistent clinical decisions and compliance.
• Drive clinical innovation, manage organizational change, and support health equity initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• MD or DO with board certification in cardiology or vascular surgery and an active, unrestricted medical license.
• 7 years managing clinical teams and 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in health plan operations or managed care is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to lead organizational change, influence policy, and advocate for payment reform and health equity.
