Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC certification
- Valid respiratory therapy license and current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS
- Critical thinking, strong interpersonal communication, and proficiency in English
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Effective teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform diagnostic tests and manage therapy equipment
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients/families
