Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Role Overview: This position is for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in a Float Pool role, supporting multiple departments including Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and ICU based on experience and competency. The RN provides direct patient care, manages admissions and discharges, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between units to meet organizational and patient care needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Current RN license in New York
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; BSN must be completed within five years if hired without it
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
• Ability to recognize and respond to patient care emergencies
