Registered Nurse PRN

Position Overview: Provides leadership and delivers professional nursing care in facility or home settings, focusing on patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Accredited RN Program completion
• Current RN licensure (North Carolina or compact license)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
• At least 1 year of relevant experience; facility or home care preferred
• Optional: National certification in specialty area
  
  

Key Skills & Responsibilities: Leadership in patient care delivery, adherence to medical interventions, documentation, and patient education. Ensures compliance with licensing requirements and maintains current certifications.
