Join a Level 1 Trauma Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities include: actively participating in trauma activations, evaluating trauma patients, managing clinical care, performing procedures such as chest tubes and intubations, serving as a consistent team presence, coordinating care, documenting patient records, planning discharges, and assisting in surgeries.
Qualifications: Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Arizona license or eligibility, and surgical patient care experience preferred (new graduates considered). Required certifications include RNFA, BLS, ATLS, and ACLS; PALS, ABLS, and NRP are preferred.
Practice details: Full-time role with combined clinic and inpatient duties, covering day and mid-shift hours across four ten-hour shifts weekly.
