Nurse Educator - Perioperative

Role: Responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills, promote best practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Develop curricula and conduct training sessions on clinical procedures, patient care, technology, and regulations.
• Facilitate orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Assess staff competencies, provide feedback, and create individual development plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards through education, training, and audits.
• Collaborate with leadership to align educational initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred. RN licensure and 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, including perioperative nursing, are essential. Prior experience in nursing education or training (2-3 years) is preferred.

Skills: Curriculum development, instructional design, adult learning principles, excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability to healthcare changes. Familiarity with healthcare technologies and learning management systems is advantageous.

This onsite role involves day shifts, with a focus on fostering continuous learning and staff development within a hospital setting.
