Job Summary: The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides in-home care to patients, supporting their daily activities and health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and mouth care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to promote mobility.
• Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities suited to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, report changes in client condition, and document tasks using EVV systems.
• Ensure compliance with the care plan, uphold confidentiality, and respect patient rights.
• Identify and report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions.
• Use equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes per care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing.
