Medicaid Homecare Services

Role: Certified Nurse Assistant providing home care services in clients' residences, primarily on Saturdays for 3-hour shifts.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as instructed by healthcare professionals.
• Preparing meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests.
• Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records of care provided.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
• Completing tasks via EVV app and adhering to the care plan, with a focus on patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Supporting client independence within their capabilities and collaborating as part of a healthcare team.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills and physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and bending.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
  
  

Additional Requirements: Must be dependable, punctual, and adaptable to various client environments. Travel within the designated area is required. The role involves physical demands, including lifting approximately 50 lbs.
