Position: Infection Preventionist
Location: Glenview, IL
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with on-call rotation, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities: Oversee infection control measures, conduct surveillance, investigate infection clusters, ensure regulatory compliance, perform rounds, collaborate with departments, communicate with health authorities, develop policies, provide staff training, and support infection risk strategies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or Public Health required; Master’s preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in infectious diseases. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within two years. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical records systems. Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license required.
