Responsibilities: Ensure proper sterilization and decontamination using equipment like sterilizers and ultrasonic devices, organize and assemble surgical trays, assist with various specialties including neuro, cardiovascular, and robotics, and maintain compliance with infection control standards. May be assigned to emergency teams and must be flexible to report as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2-3 years of hospital experience, proficiency with CensiTrac system, sterilization equipment, and special procedures. Requires current certifications such as IAHCSMM/HSPA, CRCST, CSPDT, and appropriate licenses. Experience with surgical instruments, robotic systems, and sterilization monitoring is essential. Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to perform detailed documentation is required.
