Job Title: Scheduling Specialist (Healthcare) – Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Scheduling Specialist to support patient scheduling across both in-home and facility-based care settings. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage daily patient scheduling for providers across multiple locations (SNF, ALF, in-home)
• Add patients to schedules, adjust appointments, and prevent provider overlaps
• Process reschedules, discharges, and patient removals with accuracy and urgency
• Maintain clean, accurate patient lists and scheduling systems
• Collaborate with providers and internal teams to align schedules and patient needs
• Follow provider and facility-specific scheduling protocols
• Manage scheduling requests, ticket queues, voicemails, and email communication
• Ensure proper visit frequency for patient types (Skilled Nursing, ALF, Hospice, Geriatric, Behavioral Health)
• Coordinate telehealth visits and urgent scheduling requests
• Document scheduling updates, visit reasons, and related clinical communication (labs, radiology, etc.)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• 1–2 years of healthcare scheduling experience required
  • (Experience in both in-home and facility-based care strongly preferred)
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly (EMR/scheduling platforms)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
