Who you are:
- BS or MS in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant lab experience, ideally involving protein purification and/or fermentation.
- Skilled in aseptic technique, pipetting, buffer/media prep, and maintaining organized electronic lab notebooks.
- Experience with AKTA/FPLC or other chromatography systems preferred.
- Microbial fermentation experience is a plus.
- Fermentation is a huge plus as well.
- Support daily laboratory operations including experiment execution, documentation, buffer/media prep, and sample collection.
- Operate and maintain fermentation bioreactors (2L–100L) as needed.
- Perform clarification, filtration, and chromatography steps to support protein purification workflows using AKTA FPLC.
