Summary
UVA Health is seeking an experienced RRT for a NICU assignment at the Children's Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. This is a day-shift role with a self-scheduling unit model. The client is offering the position, pending clinical review of the submission.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 3x12-hour (07:00-19:00)

• Hours: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week

• Weekends: Every other weekend required

• Holidays: Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays

• Time off around Christmas cannot be approved

• Self-scheduling model: The manager will explain it on the call. A desired schedule is not guaranteed, but the unit will do its best to accommodate.

Requirements

• Active RRT certification

• BLS and NRP certifications

• At least 1 year of experience, including Level 4 NICU experience (required)

• PICU experience; cardiac PICU experience preferred

• Children's hospital experience

Licensure

• Active Virginia license preferred

• Can submit with a VA license pending if a temporary license can be obtained before the start date

• A current license in another state is required to be eligible for a temporary VA license

Facility Requirements

• Flu vaccine: Required, no exemptions

• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
