Responsibilities
Preparing, reviewing and completing individual and corporate tax returns for C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships and LLC entities.
Plans tax return preparation by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, process, internal controls and external regulations.
Reviews general ledger, account balances, balance sheets, income statements and related financial statements.
Reviews, prepares and completes tax work papers and memoranda by documentation procedures, filings and analysis
Prepares and reviews other types of tax returns
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
Supervision of junior tax staff
Provides financial control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
Protects firm reputation by keeping information confidential
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Contributes to team results by welcoming new and different work requirements and exploring new opportunities
