Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Employment Type: Full-Time (Preferred)
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call (Flexible hours available)
Setting: Outpatient Private Clinic
Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervising SLP with implementing individualized treatment plans.
Conduct therapy sessions and support patients in achieving communication goals.
Prepare therapy materials and assist in adapting activities to optimize treatment outcomes.
Collect, track, and document patient data, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
Communicate with patients and families, offering education and home-practice resources.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.
Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or closely related field.
Eligible or active Alaska SLPA License.
SLPA certification required (or ability to obtain).
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and time-management abilities.
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
