Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological, academic, and other educational assessments for students.
- Prepare and maintain evaluation reports and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Review and ensure compliance of newly received and existing special education documents.
- Lead evaluation team meetings and participate in intervention assistance teams.
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student academic and emotional needs.
- Provide recommendations and consultation regarding educational programming and interventions.
- Assist with staff and parent training related to special education and student mental health.
- Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting special education eligibility and services.
- Participate in school committees, professional development activities, and special projects.
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid South Carolina educator certification with a School Psychology certification field.
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks.

Salary : $60,000 - $69,000
