Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and deliver therapies as ordered by physicians.Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation, and other advanced procedures.Monitor patient response to treatment, assess ventilator settings, and make recommendations.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on patient care plans.Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ABGs, spirometry, and pulse oximetry.Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all hospital protocols and safety standards.Qualifications:Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).State licensure as required.BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care or specialty areas (Neuro, ICU, NICU, ER preferred).Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Why You Should ApplyYour Expertise Truly Matters Here: This is a place where your respiratory skills aren't just tasks on a checklist-they directly change outcomes for some of the most vulnerable patients.
