Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Physician specializing in HIV and Infectious Disease care to join a modern outpatient healthcare practice in Los Angeles, CA. The provider will deliver comprehensive care to adult and senior patients within a collaborative and LGBTQ inclusive clinical environment focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient HIV and Infectious Disease care for adult patients
- Manage HIV/AIDS treatment plans and monitor ongoing patient care
- Prescribe and manage PrEP and PEP therapies
- Diagnose and treat infectious diseases and related chronic health conditions
- Provide preventive care, patient counseling, and health education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
- Active California medical license or ability to obtain required
- Minimum few years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience managing HIV/AIDS patients required
- Experience with PrEP/PEP management required
- Strong communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in outpatient or community health settings preferred
- Commitment to LGBTQ inclusive and compassionate care
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- 4 hours of weekly administrative time
- Average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day
- 20-minute and 40-minute appointment slots
