Position Overview
We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven outpatient clinic serving diverse and underserved patient populations. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about community health, preventive care, and delivering high-quality primary care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including history-taking, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with evidence-based standards
- Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Manage clinical documentation, in-basket messages, refills, and lab results on time
- Average 3 patients per hour (20-minute visits)
- Includes 2 telehealth visits per day
- Dedicated administrative/charting time daily
- Charts completed within 72 hours
- EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
- MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or FMG with ECFMG certification)
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted California medical license
- DEA and CPR certification required
- 1-2 years of experience in community health, FQHC, or underserved populations preferred
- Strong commitment to caring for low-income and diverse patient populations
- Experience with pediatric to adult primary care strongly preferred
- Familiarity with HRSA, HEDIS, PCMH, and quality metrics is a plus (preferred)
