Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings
- Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
- Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room as a first assist
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in hospital rounding and call coverage as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Manage patient care while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA-C certification or actively pursuing certification
- Eligible for Massachusetts state licensure
- DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in orthopedic care strongly preferred
- Prior orthopedic experience preferred but not required
- Full-Time position
- Outpatient orthopedic setting
- Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
- Patient population: Orthopedic patients of all ages
