Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services in a pediatric outpatient setting for patients from birth to age 21.
- Plan, prepare, and implement individualized treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore each child's highest level of function.
- Perform and document initial evaluations, treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress notes.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs to support continued progress.
- Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to maximize therapeutic benefits.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as required.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and ABA Therapists, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
- Participate in team collaboration and professional development activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Kansas Physical Therapist License or eligibility for licensure in Kansas.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Pediatric experience preferred; clinical education experience with pediatric populations will be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Must successfully pass required background and drug screening.
