Roles And Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments under a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions
- Provide hands-on therapy (exercises, manual techniques, modalities)
- Monitor patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Texas PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
