- Provide comprehensive clinical care to adult and geriatric oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment and care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment.
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
- Manage medications and treatment plans in accordance with established clinical protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care and provide appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in the provider on-call rotation.
- Promote a patient-centered approach to oncology care.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credentials.
- Current Massachusetts licensure/authorization to practice.
- Relevant clinical experience as an NP or PA-C.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Willingness to participate in the provider on-call rotation.
- Experience caring for adult through geriatric patients preferred.
