Responsibilties
- Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Represent clients in settlement discussions and negotiations
- Advise business clients on compliance, risk management, and operational issues
- Draft and review contracts and business agreements
- Assist with entity formation and corporate governance
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
- Active California Bar license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation, business law, or a combination of both
- Experience with civil litigation procedures
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
