Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient infectious disease care; outpatient exposure and training available if desired
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based clinical services
- Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Participate in call rotation: 1 in 3 weekend call with ARNP support
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
- No night call
- No requirement to return to the hospital after leaving for the day
- Patient Load: Approximately 25-30 patients per physician
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to quality patient care
- New graduates welcome
