Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, screen, and recruit qualified travel nurses (RNs and specialties) using job boards, social media, LinkedIn, candidate databases, referrals, and outbound calling.
- Conduct thorough interviews, verify licenses, credentials, and experience to ensure compliance and strong candidate fit for travel contracts.
- Match nurses with top-paying travel assignments based on their skills, preferred locations, compensation needs, and career goals.
- Guide candidates through the entire placement process - from application and interviews to credentialing, compliance, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build lasting relationships with placed nurses to support them during assignments, encourage extensions, and generate future placements and referrals.
- Collaborate closely with account managers, facility clients, and internal teams (payroll, compliance) to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, including calls, submissions, interviews, and placements.
- Stay up to date on travel nursing market trends, pay packages, licensing requirements (including Nurse Licensure Compact), and competitive landscape.
- 2-3 years of recruiting experience in healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or high-volume recruitment.
- Proven success in sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates in a metrics-driven environment.
- Strong sales acumen combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of nursing credentials, licensure, background checks, and healthcare compliance is a big plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and recruiting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in our Frisco, TX office.
