Our client, a growing legal practice, is seeking a Family Attorney to represent clients across a full range of family matters. This role involves courtroom representation, strategic case management, and client advocacy in sensitive and complex legal situations.

- Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and related family matters
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, judgments, and orders
- Manage division of marital assets, including real estate
- Maintain organized and up-to-date client files
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners, paralegals, and support staff
- Develop legal strategies aligned with client goals
- Supervise support staff and participate in file review meetings
- Prepare equitable distribution charts
- Monitor retainers and coordinate with billing staff
- Handle appeals when necessary
- Travel within the state for hearings and meetings as required
- Active license to practice in West Virginia or Ohio (willingness to obtain reciprocal licensure required)
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Family experience preferred but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume caseloads
