Dental Hygienist (New graduates accepted)

Location: Overland Park & Shawnee, KS

Job Type: Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Considered

Practice Setting: Private Dental Practice

Schedule: Approximately 4 Days/Week | Monday-Friday | No Weekends or On-Call

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a supportive private dental practice in the Overland Park and Shawnee, KS areas. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced hygienists and new graduates seeking a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on preventive dental care and quality patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), and patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Identify periodontal disease and other oral health conditions
• Administer local anesthetic when certified and permitted by licensure
• Maintain infection control and sterilization compliance
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to deliver quality patient care
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Previous clinical dental hygiene experience preferred
• Local anesthetic certification preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
