- Monday-Friday: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (5x8s)

Key Responsibilities
- Review physician orders and patient medical history prior to imaging procedures.
- Educate patients regarding CT procedures, equipment, and expectations to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice when required.
- Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any changes.
- Prepare imaging equipment and maintain necessary supplies.
- Follow established radiation safety protocols and perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions as needed.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Document, transmit, and report imaging results according to departmental procedures.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Required
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related imaging field.
- Current New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous CT imaging experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
