Schedule/Hours
- Orientation is weekly, each Monday
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required at submission (additional certifications may be requested)
- A minimum of 60 miles from Los Alamos to be eligible for travel status
- Compliance with New Mexico state fingerprinting/background check for clinical staff (orientation may begin on a 14-day waiver if background check is processing)
- Experience in circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR preferred
- Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care, including pre-op assessment, intraoperative support, and post-op evaluation
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical techs
- Adhere to evidence-based protocols and stringent infection control standards
- Support patient and family education, providing reassurance throughout the surgical process
