Responsibilities
- Independently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle cases involving:
- Personal Injury Defense
- Premises Liability
- Products Liability
- Transportation Litigation
- Habitability Defense
- Develop litigation strategy and oversee case progression.
- Draft and argue substantive motions.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrations.
- Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings.
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with litigation support staff.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal guidance.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- U.S. work authorization required.
- 10 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
- Trial experience strongly preferred.
- Significant experience in one or more of the following:
- Personal Injury Defense
- Premises Liability
- Products Liability
- Transportation Litigation
- Habitability Defense
- Excellent courtroom, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
- Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 annually (DOE)
