Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as the Assistant Director of Center-Based Services in a center-based ABA program. This leadership role combines a small caseload with staff supervision and operational support, ideal for a BCBA with strong supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Service Delivery
- Maintain a caseload of 3-4 clients and provide direct ABA therapy as needed
- Implement and monitor skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Provide crisis intervention and physical management when required
- Ensure effective treatment delivery and measurable client progress
- Conduct initial consultations and clinical assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and data collection systems
- Analyze client data and modify programming based on outcomes
- Ensure treatment integrity using evidence-based practices
- Create instructional and treatment materials
- Complete clinical documentation, service notes, and billing records
- Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, and regulatory standards
- Conduct audits related to safety, billing, and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Supervise Senior RBTs and clinical team members
- Provide staff training on ABA procedures and treatment protocols
- Monitor treatment fidelity and provide performance feedback
- Support scheduling and daily center operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Assist the Director with program oversight and leadership duties
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and run for extended periods
- Ability to physically assist and manage children, teens, and young adults
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to safely implement crisis management and physical intervention procedures
- Active BCBA certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a BCBA
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience designing and monitoring programs across the autism spectrum
- Strong knowledge of child development and social/emotional milestones
- Experience with assessments and intervention development
- Experience with ABA insurance billing and compliance standards
- Small, manageable caseload
