What are the responsibilities and job description for the Allied - Medical Assistant - Travel position at Protouch Staffing?
Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
Assist providers during clinical examinations and office procedures.
Administer injections, medications, and collect specimens as directed.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document patient information.
Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-visit instructions.
Maintain exam rooms, manage clinical supplies, and follow infection control protocols.
Work closely with providers and staff to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
Active Medical Assistant Certification (Required).
Current BLS Certification (Required).
Urology experience is strongly preferred.
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Shifts between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
No weekends
No on-call responsibilities
