Job Summary
Under general supervision, prepares and operates equipment while assisting physicians during electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role prioritizes high-quality, patient-centered care and supports procedures for adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all EP equipment is ready and functioning
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology and related cardiac procedures
- Operate and monitor specialized EP equipment
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Recognize and respond to patient needs during procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required (open to strong new graduates)
- Associate Degree required
- BLS (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
- RCES certification or ARRT with a Florida Radiologic Technologist license required
