Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to assigned attorneys, gaining a deep understanding of their practice needs and client requirements
- Manage new‑matter intake, including conflicts checks, engagement letters, and file setup
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain attorney calendars, including court deadlines, filings, and client meetings
- Coordinate administrative and workflow tasks using firm technology platforms
- Support billing, expense processing, and other administrative functions as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coverage and high service standards
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a legal practice assistant or legal secretary
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced professional environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong communication and organizational skills
