General Expectations

Duties and responsibilities
- Delivery medical equipment according to company policy
- Process delivery paperwork according to company policy
- Maintain warehouse inventory
- Clean and process returned equipment via company policy
- Develop and maintain technical/working knowledge of current PAP products and services offered by FHM, and all applicable governmental regulations.
- Process PAP paperwork on a daily basis according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Educate patients in proper use and care of PAP equipment, including fitting masks.
- Perform preventive maintenance on PAP equipment and enter into Brightree according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving patient equipment problems in home and via phone.
- Assist with On-Call
- Process all CPAP/BiPAP equipment returns according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Educate patients on PAP supplies and replacements guidelines.
- Document all information necessary to ensure reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products and services.
- Maintain PAP inventory for the designated branch and conduct monthly inventory counts according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Collect co-insurance payments due and arrange patient payment plans according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Schedule patients for PAP setups, new PAP supply, mask fittings/exchanges, etc. according to FHM policies and procedures.
- Assist walk-in patients with troubleshooting equipment, downloads, mask issues, pressure changes, general questions, etc.
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with FHM policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications include:
- Possess high school diploma.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience or successful completion of factory training seminar for home medical equipment preferred.
- Must carry personal liability car insurance with a minimum limit of $100,000.
- Must currently live in, or plan to move to (at your own expense) a reasonable commute to Bourbonnais, IL.
- Courteous Customer Service (internally and externally)
- Must love helping People (both internally and externally)
- High level of attention to detail
- Must be able to manage multiple computer applications
- Must be willing work "On-Call" rotation
- Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted
- Must be able to pass background requirements and drug screenings
- Must have valid driver’s license with proof of clean driving record and be willing to drive all over Illinois in company vehicle.
Physical requirements
- Occasionally lift/move up to 200 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend over, kneel, sit or stand for extended periods of times as needed to meet customer’s needs
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is required to sit and stand.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

- Must be 21 years of age to comply with company auto insurance regulations.
