What will you do?
- Represent the Prosum value proposition by delivering a high-touch, consultative candidate experience that builds long-term relationships and trust within the tech community.
- Identify, engage, and recruit top IT talent through a combination of sourcing strategies including networking, referrals, cold outreach, job boards, LinkedIn, recruiting research, and internet sourcing.
- Leverage AI and emerging recruiting tools to streamline sourcing, outreach, market research, candidate communication, and workflow management without sacrificing a high-touch candidate experience.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive technology candidates aligned to current and future client hiring needs.
- Partner closely with sales and delivery teams to understand client requirements, hiring priorities, technical skill sets, and timelines in order to effectively match talent to opportunities.
- Own the candidate lifecycle from initial outreach and qualification through interview preparation, offer negotiation, closing, and onboarding support.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings to evaluate technical experience, communication skills, cultural alignment, compensation expectations, and overall fit for client opportunities.
- Prepare candidates for client interviews through detailed briefing and coaching while maintaining consistent communication throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate and close candidate offers in highly competitive markets while managing competing opportunities and counteroffers.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, recruiting activity, interview feedback, and pipeline tracking within Bullhorn and other recruiting platforms.
- Consistently achieve individual recruiting performance metrics, activity goals, placements, and gross profit targets in a fast-paced staffing environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to help improve recruiting processes, share market insights, and contribute to the continued growth of the Prosum community.
Location & Work Environment
This is a remote role. However, candidates must be willing to occasionally go onsite to our El Segundo, CA office for onboarding, training, and periodic team meetings or events.

Is this you?
- 2 years of recruiting experience within a staffing agency environment, preferably focused on IT or technology recruiting.
- A strong understanding of the recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and candidate management.
- A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively source, engage, and build relationships with top technical talent in competitive markets.
- A well-developed candidate network and the ability to continuously build pipelines of active and passive IT professionals.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruiting tools including LinkedIn, internet recruiting, recruiting research, referrals, and cold outreach techniques.
- The ability to assess client hiring needs and effectively match candidates to both contract and permanent opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to interview, influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively across candidates, clients, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, requisitions, and recruiting workflows simultaneously.
- A proactive, resourceful, and coachable mindset with a desire to continuously learn, improve, and grow within the staffing industry.
- Ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment with urgency, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Curious and adaptable with an openness to experimenting with new technologies, recruiting platforms, and AI tools to improve productivity and recruiting effectiveness.
- Interested in technology and motivated to stay current on evolving tech trends and skill sets.
- Experience using ATS and CRM systems to document recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records; Bullhorn experience is a plus.
- A collaborative team player who naturally builds strong internal partnerships with sales, recruiting, and delivery teams while creating a positive experience for candidates.
- College degree preferred (BA/BS).

Compensation
Base Salary: $70,304 uncapped commissions
Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90K–$130K
