Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: DoE
Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments between suppliers, carriers, and customers
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory management
- Communicate and provide updates to customers regarding shipment status
- Resolve any transportation issues or delays that may arise
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of all logistic activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience in logistics or related field
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to transportation and logistics
