We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Services Representative (PSR) for 3-4 months to help keep things running smoothly at a busy dental clinic front desk. This role is all about creating a welcoming experience for patients while handling the day-to-day administrative details that keep the clinic on track.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients with a warm welcome and help them through check-in and check-out
- Verify insurance, collect payments, scan documents, and provide receipts
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and community partners
- Send out and collect patient welcome packets
- Keep track of unscheduled and future appointments (like re-care visits)
- Help train and guide student workers at the front desk
- Build and maintain the daily patient schedule and share updates as needed
- Manage patient records, including transfers and intake forms
- Monitor eligibility for discounted fees (e.g., community partners, veterans)
- Keep the waiting area clean and comfortable
- Balance and close out payments at the end of the day
- Step in to support the Office Manager when needed
- Assist with collecting patient feedback and survey data
